Undiagnosed pregnancy complications can be devastating

In our previous post, we discussed some of the more common pregnancy problems that can have devastating results if they aren't diagnosed and treated. Many doctors and midwives keep a close eye on pregnant women who are at risk of developing problems so that they can treat the woman. Sadly, there are some instances in which a doctor or midwife doesn't make the proper diagnosis or offer appropriate treatment. Those instances can lead in tragedy.

We know that the last thing you wanted was for your pregnancy to end with devastation. Whether you are dealing with a miscarriage, stillbirth, or a birth injury to your child, we can help you to learn about the options that you have for seeking compensation.

When you seek prenatal care, you have the right to expect that the care you receive is the care that puts your interests and your baby's interests first. You don't expect that your prenatal care would put you and your baby at risk.

If you suffered from undiagnosed preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, placenta problems, a breech birth, or any other pregnancy complication and didn't receive proper care, you can take action for the harm that you or your baby suffered.

If you opt to file a lawsuit based on the errors that were made in your case, you must know that you have to meet certain time limits. If you don't file your case in time, you won't be able to seek the compensation that can help you to cover the medical care costs and other costs associated with the injuries.
